Foundation for Success
We adopted Bella, a 2-year-old rescue mix, who had never received any training. She jumped on everyone, pulled terribly on walks, and wouldn't listen to basic commands. We were overwhelmed and considering returning her to the shelter. Hayden's basic obedience program was a lifesaver! In just 6 weeks, Bella learned sit, stay, come, and proper leash manners. She now greets visitors politely and has become the perfect family dog for our three young children. Hayden's kind approach worked where previous training attempts had failed. We can't imagine life without Bella now!

Basic Obedience Training FAQs
It's never too late! Adult dogs often learn faster than puppies because they have better attention spans. We've successfully trained dogs of all ages. The key is consistency and patience, not the dog's age.
Our training is completely personalized and happens in your home where your dog needs to behave. We address your specific challenges and lifestyle needs rather than following a generic curriculum. Plus, you get one-on-one attention instead of competing with other dogs for the trainer's focus.
We can work with many reactive behaviors, but severe aggression requires specialized handling. During our discovery visit, we'll assess whether basic obedience is appropriate or if your dog needs behavior modification work first. Safety is always our priority.
We encourage all family members to participate! Consistency is key, so we'll teach everyone the same techniques and commands. Dogs need to understand that rules apply with every family member, not just the primary trainer.
We recommend 10-15 minutes of practice twice daily. Training isn't just about the weekly sessions with us—it's about incorporating good behaviors into your daily routine. We'll give you simple homework that fits into walks, feeding time, and everyday interactions.
