Not necessarily. If your goal is service dog training, we can incorporate advanced obedience skills into that comprehensive program. However, if you're unsure about service work, advanced obedience is an excellent stepping stone that provides many of the same foundational skills.
Off-leash reliability is one of our key goals, but it depends on your dog's drive and your consistency with practice. We'll work up to off-leash control in safe, appropriate environments. However, we always emphasize using good judgment about when and where off-leash is appropriate for safety.
